It’s Day 2 of The Annual Knitting and Crochet Blog Week and I almost had to raise the white flag already!
Day 2 is the photo challenge day and I just couldn’t think of anything remotely creative. I had to stay home from work today as Girl Child had the day off, my sitter crapped out and Boy Child had to get an MRI. All I really could think about was getting him to school this morning, figuring out what she was going to eat and do today, how I was going to pick him up early, get him to his appointment while toting her along and still get this photo challenge done with enough light. At some point the thought crossed my mind that I always seem to have a kid that needs some form of medical attention these days. One kid has to go for a sick visit. Another kid has a fever. One kid has to see the dentist. Another has to go to therapy. Then I realized, “Wait a minute! I need some therapy!” And, thus, these photos were born.
“Take two of these and call me in the morning.” :)
Still a little rushed. But, satisfies the creativity requirement, I hope. You know, I’m never really sure when I do these posts which photos I like best. I just clog up my camera snapping a gazillion photos, and try to weed some out and get down to the last one standing. For every photo there’s probably ten others that I didn’t like at all. For this challenge, I had to decide between these two in the end. You be the judge. :)
When I think of yarn therapy, of course I think of more yarn! So…
Today, I plied the spindle spun project. This is one of my Golding Spindles. I used it because it is rim-weighted and spins forever long. Needed that for this project. Sigh. I love color!
We’ll see how this washes up. And since I have the two buckets now, I’m planning to felt the mess out of this! :)
